Gentle aromas of redcurrant & fennel seed. Crisp, light-med palate with body and weight, notes of air-dried ham & bay leaf.

Aromatically shy but expressive and generous to drink, all aged in old oak on lees.Last year the Corsini family grafted some Sangiovese for me. In the future this wine will use a mix of MAT 6 and MAT 7, both of which are Brunello clones.

This is mostly the MAT 6, which shows lovely red fruit and less tannin, lending itself to Rosato production.
